Cop accused of shooting pregnant girlfriend in head in car then saying she had committed suicide

David McCoy, 29, a former Huntsville police officer, was indicted on March 24 on capital-murder charges in the 2022 shooting death of his girlfriend, Courtney Spraggins, and their unborn baby.
