Actor Fred Ward, Of ‘Tremors,’ ‘The Right Stuff’ Fame, Dies

Fred Ward, a veteran actor who brought a gruff tenderness to tough-guy roles in such films as “The Right Stuff,” “The Player” and “Tremors,” has died.
