The fund has acquired a 70% stake in a school property at Chengdu, China.
Keppel Capital, through its subsidiary Keppel Capital Alternative Asset, has raised more than half of its target commitments for its approximately $683.3m (US$500m) Keppel Education Asset Fund, the company said in a local bourse filing.
The fund intends to partner with established school operators to invest in private education-related real estate in the Asia Pacific region.
